Natasha, you probably know that her sense of style and her blog (NAWAYS) run hand-in hand. The blog exists of photos from her daily life, inspirational quotes/photos, creative collaborations/shoots and a bit of music. Speaking of music, she is also a musician who finds inspiration in all those sweet, bluesy r&b/jazzy/soul feel-good tunes. But lastly, and perhaps most importantly, she has a big space in her heart reserved for tea and bunnies.
1) How would you describe your personal style?
My style is fairly mood based. But generally speaking, I’m quite the minimalist. I stick mainly to neutral colours and pieces that are simple and versatile. For instance, I have a long black tunic from Oak+Fort that I probably wore at least 3 or 4 times a week in the fall/winter time. I ended up buying the exact same tunic again in hopes of reducing the amount of laundry washes I’d been putting the poor, first one through. 2) What are some of the trends you’re crazy about this season?
Footwear! – sneakers, sandals and funky patterned socks.
3) You incorporate a lot of mens clothing into your daily outfits…what are some of your favourite ways to create gender neutral looks?
Hah! Honestly, when I dress in menswear I normally rely on making sure my make-up is done well. Throw some lipstick on… maybe do something with my hair. If I can get away with dressing like a dude but still looking like a girl, then I’m A O.K. On a side note, I’m a big fan of hoodies and sneakers. I don’t know what it is. 4) Who would you call your fashion icon?
I tend to scope out “fashion” bloggers for style inspiration. My current favorite lady bloggers are India Rose, Charlie May and Alyssa Lau.
5) What is your current song on repeat?
Although I have a passion for music, I have a tendency to gravitate away from a lot of the latest music “trends” or artists. Not to say I’m super old school either. That being said, I guess I just find a satisfaction in artists/music in whom I find (singing) inspiration from: Amy Winehouse, Alicia Keys, Lauryn Hill, Emeli Sande, Norah Jones, John Legend… (these artists are always on repeat).

Iggy Azalea’s new video 'Fancy' has reached 30 million views and counting. We were excited about being part of this production, where much of the wardrobe featured was courtesy of Frankie. Fancy takes us on a trip back to 1995 when Tommy Hillfiger, Polo Sport, and pagers ran the school yard. The video takes 90′s inspiration to another level by almost identically recreating the cult classic “Clueless”. Thanks to our friends @virgodowntown for putting us on. Catch Iggy Azalea on her 'New Classics' Tour.
